Musopathy as a
vision was formulated in the mid-1990s by Indian Musician-Composer, Chitravina N Ravikiran. The Musopathy Foundation (MF) is a unit of Ravikiran Foundation of India. It focuses on Music and Musopathy Health and Wellness Research and applications for both individuals and organisations.
Clisonics is an incorporated LLC in USA, focused more on Music and Musopathy Health and Wellness applications to individuals and groups.
Both were founded to bridge sound science, rhythm science and math, therapeutic practice and empirical research and seek to offer complementary and supplementary health benefit to global populations.
Research Pathways
While sound-based and breathing and music practices and rhythms for cognitive development have long been used in wellness and traditional systems, rigorous scientific exploration tapping on universal aspects embedded in these remains limited. Musopathists aim to address this gap by developing structured methodologies that can be studied, measured, and validated through collaborative research.
